Homemade Biscuits

This is a mix of like 4 different recipes I have made my own. I kept trying different recipes and ended up experimenting until I got this recipe.
2 1/4 cup flour
1/2 stick of butter/margarine (4 tbsp) melted
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 egg
1/4 cup milk

Preheat oven to 400°F
Mix together wet ingredients and dry ingredients separately. Pour wet into dry and mix until you dont see any more flour. (Sometimes you have to add more milk or flour to get the consistency you want)

Scoop onto a greased cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serve with butter, honey, jam, jelly or make up some sausage gravy (I'll be honest, I cheat and use the canned stuff and add some extra sausage to it. I like to make my breakfast meals easy.)
You can also add parsley, garlic powder(or replace the salt with garlic salt) and 2 cups of shredded cheddar for a certain seafood chain restaurant favorite made at home!
